Morris Architects was hired to restore and update this iconic State Street building. We created a collaboration center for the owner's management consulting company on the second floor, the headquarters for a foundation on the sixth floor and created a new lobby with a model of the Servia, the first fully electrified ship to sail the Atlantic for Cunard.

313 Washington Street in Newton Corner, MA presented a unique problem: How to create value on an urban site sandwiched between a 1928 commercial block and a thriving residential neighborhood - and provide parking as well. Morris Architects solution was a 4-story addition with a 3 1/2-story underground garage, all built without disturbing the existing tenants or the adjacent home-owners. The tall pitched roof not only helped to make the building fit the neighborhood, it solved a zoning problem in a unique way.

Back in the days when "RomneyCare" proceeded "ObamaCare", Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan was a pioneer in delivering quality health care services to Medicaid patients. Morris Architects designed several offices for BMCHP including its headquarters in Boston and significant branches in Springfield, New Bedford and Pittsfield in Massachusetts and in Manchester, NH.

Morris Architects created two offices for AstraTech, the medical devices division of AstraZeneca. The first was a tripling of their offices in a first-class office building at Waltham Woods. After their purchase of another device manufacturer, Morris Architects created new offices and manufacturing facilities in Hobbs Brook Park, also in Waltham MA. The manufacturing facilities represent substantial intellectual property of the company, so only the offices are shown here.
